CCTV Introduction

CCTV has been widely used in public areas by law enforcement and private security organizations in Australia. Currently, CCTV technology is being used by many government departments. Much of the existing CCTV at the local level is currently being used to keep record of criminal incident, increase public safety perceptions and monitor traffic, especially traffic signal-controlled intersections and to observe and sanction aggressive driving. The market for CCTV has seen almost exponential growth in recent years. There are countless people who have been seduced by direct marketing or salespeople eager for a sale, yet surprisingly few have dug into the subject to discover if they have been sold quality equipment. A couple of years down the line their expensive investment is not capable of living up to its expectations because the goods they bought were never expensive in the first place. We will only sell you a system or components which you will recognize as good quality and we will not try to merge the costs of supply, installation and maintenance together to hide the intrinsic value of the goods.

CCTV, its COOL!

Have you ever wanted to know who was at the front door before you walked all the way there to find out? How about keeping an eye on the kids in the pool, when you need to be online at your home office desk? Or have you ever wished you could have a visual record of burglar of your premise? Have you ever worried about the serious shop theft problem? You can do them all by adding Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) to your home wiring network.

What does CCTV do for you?

• See who's at the door from any TV in the house.
• Check on the baby while watching TV.
• Watch the kids in the pool while online in the den.
• Monitor activity throughout your home, from any TV, even your PC monitor.

How it works?
• Tiny TV cameras can be installed in any area you wish to monitor: exterior doors, pool area, deck, and nursery.
• Cables run from the TV cameras back to a central panel in your garage or utility room.
• The signal from each camera is turned into a 'channel' that you can select on any TV.
• Additional wiring and equipment can let you use your telephone to talk to visitors at your front door while you watch them on TV.
• Good controllers have a memory so that you can set a group of lights to particular settings, then recall the settings for use again later.
• Your lighting system can be integrated with other systems, like security or home theater. Pressing a button to start a movie, for instance, could also send a command to dim the lights in an area.
